Red de Apoyo al Mágico Mundo Animal (Red AMMA)


Mexico’s Red AMMA is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve social awareness of animal welfare issues through education.

Red AMMA provides information and resources that enable children and adults to learn more about animals and their place in the environment. In doing so, they introduce the concept of animal sentience and improve public understanding of the importance of their welfare. Topics covered by the organisation’s educational projects include responsible pet ownership and the adoption of animals in need.

Red AMMA have successfully galvanised support for a UDAW, collecting over thirty thousand signatures for the Animals Matter to Me petition, both online and through their newsletter.
